Numbers should not merely record what happened in a business. They
should help decide what happens next.
More than a decade across compliance, accounting and business
consultancy has given Devanshi an unusual combination: the financial
understanding to know what the numbers mean, and the practical acumen
to know what to do about them. She has worked closely with businesses
at every stage of their journey, and her focus is on helping
entrepreneurs build, scale, optimise and transform what they have
built.
As a startup mentor she helps early-stage businesses put the right
financial and operational foundation in place and create a structured
path toward scale. As a business grows, the focus shifts —
profitability, cost efficiency, SOP planning, process standardisation,
internal controls, and getting more out of the resources already there.
A great deal of her work is Standard Operating Procedures: bringing
clarity to roles, streamlining the processes that recur, strengthening
accountability, and reducing a business's dependence on its founder.
That last one matters more than it sounds. A company that cannot run
without the person who started it is not yet a company.
She also works with founders on what she calls their sales universe —
where the next opportunity actually lies. New markets and customer
segments, vertical and horizontal integration, synergies already
sitting inside the existing operation, and the question of when a
business is genuinely ready for a new product or service line.
Bringing AI, automation and technology into traditional businesses is a
particular interest: finding the repetitive processes worth automating,
improving how information moves, and getting management to decisions
faster and on better data. For mature businesses it all points at one
objective — moving a founder from being occupied running the business
to actually leading it.
From compliance to SOPs, controls to costs, profitability to scaling,
diversification to AI-led transformation, she looks at a business from
a 360° perspective.
Helping entrepreneurs understand their business better today, so they
can build a stronger business tomorrow.
